Prior to joining Aidetic, Dev worked as a Data Scientist at Pivotchain Solutions where he primarily worked on computer vision tasks like optimizing image classification techniques, training object detection and tracking models for real-time surveillance, ANPR, etc. His primary responsibilities included Data science model design & development, Data engineering & transformation, Creating, Enhancing, and maintaining Machine learning models & API’s and participation in research of new technologies & publishing articles. Dev also had a brief stint as a Trainee at ONGC where he carried out several field trips and plant visits in ONGC’s Ahmedabad Asset which consisted of four Areas(I,II,III,IV). This included visits to Gas Gathering Station, Central Tank Farm, Desalter Plant, etc through which ONGC operations in the Ahmedabad Asset were extensively studied. Dev holds a Master of Technology - MTech degree in Petroleum Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, and a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Pandit Deendayal Energy University. He possesses a wide range of technical skills that include Data Scientist, Research Scientist, ML, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, NLP, Object detection, Python, Object Detection, and Data Engineering.
